Hey there! I'm Ashish, a software engineer who loves diving into cloud-native tech, system programming, and open-source projects. I work at VMware by Broadcom, where I spend most of my time coding in Golang, working with Kubernetes, and exploring Linux internals.

I actively contribute to open-source projects like Cilium/Tetragon and Aquasecurity/Tracee, leveraging eBPF to enhance security and observability. I enjoy building high-performance software, intuitive CLI tools, and scalable systems that streamline complex workflows.

In my spare time, I love running 🏃‍♂️ and cycling 🚴 – it’s my favorite way to stay active! I've completed multiple half marathons 🥇 and I enjoy pushing my limits on the road. I also enjoy learning new things 📚 and geeking out over cool tech 🤓.

PR #4650 - Implemented Heartbeat Monitoring
Added periodic heartbeat events using eBPF uProbes to enhance health monitoring and readiness checks in Tracee.

Tetragon by Cilium

PR #2908 - Enhanced Observability Metrics
Introduced Prometheus metrics to track cache hits, misses, and size in real time, improving performance analysis in Tetragon’s event pipeline.

PR #3433 - Replaced Shell Script with Go Tests that uses cilium/ebpf library to test if the ebpf program is loaded into kernel
Converted verify.sh to Go-based tests, improving integration and debugging capabilities.
